Patty Strader, President

The President of Maultsby Model & Talent Agency is Patty Whitt Strader. Patty is a former Miss Wilmington, dancer, actor and model and has been in the business for over thirty years. She studied business and drama at UNC-Chapel Hill, trained and taught dance, acting and modeling and is successful in placing actors and models in every facet of this business from film and television to print.

Her actors and models many credits include roles on The Last Song, Vampire Diaries, Army Wives, Secret Life of Bees, One Tree Hill, Little Britain, Nights in Rondanthe, Dawson’s Creek, Muppets From Space, Black Knight, Indiana Jones, The Three Lives of Karen, American Gothic, Bastard Out Of Carolina, Santa and Me, MTV, Sophie and The Moonhanger, Puff The Magic Dragon, National Tide, Grady White Boats, Shoney’s, Burger King, Kaiser Permanente commercials and many more. Print work has ranged from Belk to Coastal Living, Parent Magazine, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and a list that expands over twenty years.




Gwen Loiacono, Wilmington Executive Director & Senior Booking Agent


Gwen Wells-Loiacono studied nutrition and was a certified fitness counselor for more than ten years. She also became an accomplished photographer while living in St. Croix and has been taking pictures professionally for more than fifteen years. Her work has been published in national magazines. Gwen is also the designer of the 9-11 Remembrance Flag (www.911flag.org) She has donated more than three thousand flags to families who lost loved ones on 9-11-01.





















Leslie Corriher, Charlotte Executive Director

Leslie Corriher recently returned to North Carolina from New Port Richey, Florida, where she lived for eight years.  Leslie has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children and teens; including pre-school productions, talent shows and modeling.  She has been featured in commercials and print and worked ten years in the clothing industry as a wardrobe/image consultant.  Leslie has 10 years in Public Relations, as a Pre-shool Director and in the Pasco County School System, her experience includes;  working with families,students, staff, administration, Social Services, State Licensing and the Guardian-AD-Litem Program.  


Cherie Crawford, Atlanta Executive Director

Cherie Crawford grew up in Wilmington, NC and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mars Hill college. After college, she moved back to Wilmington, where she began her journey in modeling and acting. She first got started working on Dawson's Creek. This experience ignited the flame burning inside her to pursue acting on a more serious level. She began attending acting classes with Paul Johansson at Screen Gem Studios, and also worked on the set of One Tree Hill. In 2004, Cherie moved to New York to pursue acting. She attended The Austrailan Institute of Dramatic Arts. This extentive training enabled her to land her first audition for “This Revolution” starring Amy Redford and Rosario Dawson. Cherie has since moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue a corporate career as well as acting and modeling.



Esther Aezen, Director of Public Relations

Esther Aezen studied Fine Art and Design at Monmouth College and Phila. College of Textile and Design. She has worked in the fashion industry and enjoyed traveling to Hong Kong, Paris, London, Florence and Milan- to help build and manufacture a line of Women's shoes, handbags and jewelry. She has also worked to promote a Luxury Jewelry Brand in National Magazines and Trade Publications. Esther did personal shopping for top celebrities in New York and she also taught fashion at Philadelphia University and The Young Artist Workshop at Moore College of Art.She worked for QVC on the Shoes On Sale Charity Event and also appeared as an on-air guest.












Bill Scott, Model Consultant

Bill Scott has been a successful male model for over fifteen years, working in various national markets throughout the U.S.

Bill’s career spans many aspects of modeling. He has appeared in print ads for such clients as Nike, Champion, Lance, Wal-Mart, and Belk, as well as many others. He has also worked in film and TV in projects for Chevrolet, Bank of America, Harris Teeter, and Kohl’s Department Stores, just to name a few. Throughout his career, Bill has performed in over 275 runway shows in North America and Europe. As a hair model for Wella Worldwide for several years, he had the opportunity to appear in every major city in the U.S. as well as many throughout Europe, and truly learned the art of runway modeling.

He has now turned his expertise in a new direction, teaching his modeling skills and scouting for top talent with his company MTL. Many of his students are currently walking the runway in major markets such as New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Several of his students have even appeared in Fashion Week in New York City and as far away as Tokyo, Japan. They are so grateful to him for the confidence and knowledge in the industry they have gained in working with him.

Bill attributes his success as a teacher and scout to the fact that he is still an active working and successful male model
