The New Talent Workshop  I  is the first step to providing useful information for anyone working in film, television, commercials & print in North Caroilna.  The class- taught by Executive Director Gwen Loiacono and others in the industry-  teaches you valuable information: Obtaining a professional headshot, structuring your resume; what is expected of you (or your child) by the casting directors, booking agents, talent agents, how to fill out vouchers and related paperwork, what to expect at an audition, and much more. This workshop is a MUST for any aspiring actor or model.

JD is a top acting coach, director, and owner of The Actor’s Lab in Los Angeles, California.

The Actor’s Lab was established in 1990 by actor / director, J.D. Lewis. His studio is one of the most well respected and recognized names in Hollywood.  The Actor’s Lab also boasts an internationally award winning theater company.  JD Lewis’ studio has been home to many working actors in Los Angeles.   In 2008, The Actor’s Lab also opened a studio in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This upcoming workshop is geared for the intermediate/advanced actors and will include instruction in on-camera commercials auditions, as well as cold reading for film and television.   In addition, Mr. Lewis will discuss the business of acting, with information on targeting casting directors, creating projects and networking.
